Ingredients
1 cup Granulated White Sugar
1 cup Water
1 tbsp Pure Vanilla Extract
Directions
- Simmer sugar and water until dissolved.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in the vanilla extract once the pan is off the stove.
- Cool completely before use.
Notes
- Adding vanilla after heating prevents the delicate flavor from evaporating during the boil.
