Directions
- Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until the liquid is clear and sugar is fully dissolved.
- Remove from heat immediately; do not boil.
- Cool before bottling.
Notes
- If the syrup is cloudy, the sugar hasn’t fully dissolved. Heat slightly longer until perfectly clear.
